Copyright
Commissions
-
Both the client and the service provider hold rights to the commissioned product. While the client retains ownership, it is important to acknowledge the service provider's creative contributions and rights to the product.
-
In the event of unauthorized or illegal actions, both parties will collaborate to protect the integrity of the commissioned product. Therefore, the client exclusively owns the product but recognizes the service provider as the producer who invested effort and skill in its creation. The client agrees not to claim sole ownership or distribute the commissioned product to third parties without proper authorization.
Physical Products

-
As for physical products, copyright of the artwork or design remains with the service provider unless explicitly transferred in writing. Purchasing a physical item does not grant the client any reproduction, distribution, or commercial rights to the design featured on the product.

-
Lastly for digital goods, the usage rights and copyright terms are outlined in each product’s description. It is the client’s responsibility to read and adhere to those terms. Unless stated otherwise, digital products are for personal use only and may not be resold, edited, or redistributed.
Usage
Commissions
-
Commercial Use: Refers to any use of the commissioned work for profit or potential profit, including use by public or private entities, such as in branding, monetized content, marketing, or products. If the client intends to monetize or generate revenue from the commission, a commercial usage fee is required. This grants the client the right to use the work commercially while ensuring that full ownership remains with the service provider unless explicitly transferred.
-
Personal Use: Denotes usage that is non-commercial in nature and intended for personal enjoyment, display, or casual sharing. This includes posting on social media (with proper credit), personal prints, or use in non-profit projects. The work must not be used in any way that generates income or misrepresents the service provider.

Commissions
-
If a client specifies that a commission is private, the service provider will not share the work publicly under any circumstances. If the commission is approved for public sharing (e.g., for portfolio or promotional use), the client will be credited appropriately using their chosen name: this may be their real name, username, organization/company name, or "anonymous" if preferred. Privacy preferences should be clearly communicated when ordering.
Physical Products

-
No additional personal data is collected beyond what is necessary for order fulfillment (such as name and shipping address). All physical products are handled through trusted third-party fulfillment services (e.g., Printful), and any data shared is used solely for delivery purposes and protected accordingly.

Digital Goods
-
Any specific privacy details or conditions related to digital goods will be listed in the product’s description. Unless stated otherwise, purchases are considered for personal use only.
Trademark
Commissions
-
When a commissioned work is shared publicly — whether for personal, non-commercial, or commercial use — the client is required to include a watermark or credit representing the service provider to help deter unauthorized use or theft. The non-watermarked version is intended for private use or for incorporating the work into larger projects (e.g., games, videos, printed media). However, clients are encouraged to credit or watermark the final product where applicable, even in these cases.
-
If the service provider is permitted to share the commission publicly (e.g., in portfolios or social media), both the artist’s watermark and the client’s credit (or watermark if provided) will be displayed to ensure proper recognition of all parties involved. Clear crediting is expected in any public display or repost of the commissioned work.
Physical Products

-
Any trademarks, designs, or original works created and printed on physical merchandise remain the intellectual property of the service provider unless explicitly transferred. Clients or customers may not reuse, replicate, or reprint the designs on new merchandise or platforms without prior permission. Redistribution or reselling of physical goods with original designs outside of the original purchase is prohibited.

Digital Goods
-
Trademark and usage rights for digital goods are outlined within each product’s description. Redistribution, resale, or unauthorized editing of these digital files is not permitted unless clearly stated otherwise.
Modification
Commissions

-
Fixes, updates, or adjustments to completed commissions can be requested at any time, including for older works. If a project file is needed to make the update, the client must still have the file; otherwise, only minor edits (such as color tweaks or small touch-ups) can be made using the final image. Minor revisions are free of charge, while major updates may require an additional fee.
-
Clients are discouraged from making personal edits to the commissioned work, especially in ways that significantly alter the original. However, if modifications are made by the client, they must not claim the entire piece as their own — only the changes they personally made. It’s always encouraged to consult the service provider for any desired modifications to maintain quality and consistency.
Physical Products
-
Once a physical product is received, customers are free to use or customize it for personal use. However, modifications that significantly alter or misrepresent the original design (e.g., altering it to mimic another brand, removing branding to rebrand, or modifying it for resale) are strictly prohibited.
-
Any alterations that mislead or infringe on the service provider's original design, intent, or branding may be considered a violation of the product’s terms.
Digital Goods
-
Modification permissions for digital goods are listed within the individual product’s description. In general, clients may make reasonable modifications as needed (e.g., resizing, cropping, basic edits) as long as the product remains recognizable and within its intended use. However, excessive or transformative changes that distort the original or repurpose it into a new product for distribution or resale are not allowed without permission.
Payment & Offers
Commissions

-
Payment must be made according to the specific instructions provided by the service provider. Do not attempt to calculate or send your own payment amounts — whether it's full or partial, the service provider will always determine the correct total or split.
Payments must also be made on time or as agreed upon (e.g., “I’ll pay by this date”). If there’s a delay or issue, the client must inform the service provider. Failure to communicate (i.e., ghosting) may result in the commission being cancelled or ignored, with a maximum wait period of one week. Always stay in touch. -
Unwatermarked progress updates are only given for portions that have been paid for; unpaid progress will be shown with a watermark to prevent scams. Final files will never be delivered unless the entire agreed-upon payment has been made. As stated in the payment method section, payment after final delivery is not accepted — this applies to both full and partial plans.
-
Final quotes may include platform fees or small additional charges, but rest assured these are carefully calculated and fair.
If the quote exceeds the client’s budget, negotiations are always welcome — the service provider is happy to adjust where possible. Just be honest about your budget up front. -
Occasional discounts or coupons may be offered through Zelvof’s website or social media — clients are encouraged to keep an eye out. Patreon members also receive special discounts based on their membership tier.
Physical Products

-
Full payment, including shipping and taxes, is required upfront at checkout. The site calculates totals automatically, and orders are fulfilled and shipped via Printful.
-
If, in rare cases, there’s a system error and the received payment is less than the amount due, the service provider will cover the difference. The client will always receive what they paid for — no hidden or additional charges.
-
Printful does not provide direct discounts to customers. However, the service provider may offer occasional promos, coupon codes, or price adjustments through this site or associated storefronts. If eligible, benefits from Printful’s partner programs (such as bulk order savings or the Growth plan) may be used to provide better prices in the future. Availability of these offers may vary and are entirely at the discretion of the service provider.
Digital Goods
-
Digital products must be paid for in full before they can be accessed or used. Make sure the correct product and pricing are selected before purchase. Do not use or redistribute any digital goods you have not paid for or do not have a license for.
Usage terms and permissions are outlined clearly in each product’s description — read them carefully before use.
Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
Commissions

Refunds are only issued for incomplete portions of a commission. If payment has been made and a part of the work has been finished, that portion is non-refundable. If a portion is paid for but not yet completed, the client is eligible for a partial refund based on the percentage of progress made. Once a commission is fully completed and delivered, no refunds will be issued.

Clients are free to request a cancellation at any time, but please note the following:

-
Any completed and paid work will be retained by the service provider.
-
If the client cancels an order that has already been paid for but not finished, the client will receive the progress made (in the form of a scrap or partial) and may receive a partial refund based on how much of the order remains undone.
-
In partial payment scenarios, if progress has been made on an unpaid portion, that progress will not be shared with the client until full payment is made. The already-paid amount will be retained to cover the completed work.
-
If payment was made but no work has started yet, a full or near-full refund may be issued, depending on any time or resources already committed.

2. Wrong Size, Change of Mind, or Client Preference Issues:
Printful does not accept returns or offer refunds for issues such as incorrect sizing (if ordered as selected), change of mind, or other buyer’s remorse. Any additional shipping or restocking costs will be the responsibility of the client.

3. Failed Deliveries or Returns to Sender:
